The Sawtooth Troubadours are an old-time music and cultural experience from the hills of Western North Carolina. While they embrace the traditions of the past, they also push the boundaries that create their own unique sound

A supergroup of sorts drawing from the bands Skunk Ruckus, the Trusty Hucksters, The John Hardy Party and F-5. They bring both an audio and visual show that is rarely seen on stage.

High energy old time, sea shanties, Fiddle Reels, Backwoods BBQ Blues, and lots of genre melding originals. Everything is up for grabs.

Sawtooth Troubadours are Jim McCarthy who plays banjo, percussion, harmonica and vocal. He is joined by Mark Toolan on Guitar, John Tirone on Double Bass, Michael Sprengelmeyer on Accordion, Sean Puckett on Washtub Bass and John Fullam on Fiddle.

Blue Tribute to the Masters/Record Release show with the Mr. Jimmy Blues Band

Join us in the intimate 78 seat Tina McGuire Theatre for a night of blues from Mr. Jimmy’s Blues Band.

Award winning, Asheville based Blues artist, Mr. Jimmy is pleased to present his “Tribute to the Blues Masters” show. Growing up on the South Side of Chicago, Jimmy learned his craft performing with many local legends including Buddy Guy, Little Milton, Junior Wells, Koko Taylor, and James Cotton.

This special concert will pay homage to Jimmy’s mentors, as well as his influences, the Kings of the Blues, BB, Albert, and Freddie, Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Elmore James and Otis Rush.

The Show features Jimmy’s All-Star Band, with “Hollywood” Johnny Cosgrove on guitar, “Captain” Pat Lockett on harmonica, Charlie Wilkinson on bass and Springs Wade on drums.

Mr. Jimmy’s Record Release Show

Mr. Jimmy is pleased to announce the release of his 12th album entitled “From the Root to the Fruit” in October 2025. The record contains 10 original songs written by Jimmy and captures the evolution of his music from lowdown Delta Blues, to Electric Chicago Blues and the music’s natural growth to Jazz, R&B, Soul and Rock & Roll.

Joining Jimmy for this set will be Tom Driessen on bass and Springs Wade on drums with special guests A.G. Hammond on background vocals and Patrick Lockett on harmonica
